Beauty Instincts isn't just the name of my business—it's the philosophy behind every appointment. I believe great hair is only part of the experience. The way you're welcomed, the conversations we share, the energy we create together, and the moments of stillness in between all shape how you leave feeling.

Holistic beauty means caring for more than what's visible. Whether that's through intentional presence, Reiki, or simply creating an appointment where you can breathe a little deeper, my hope is that you leave not only loving your hair, but feeling more grounded, refreshed, and connected to yourself.

The Journey That Shaped Beauty Instincts

  • Growing Up in the Salon

    Raised in a second-generation hairstyling family, I discovered early that beauty is built through creativity, trust, and genuine connection. Watching the confidence a great haircut could bring someone inspired a lifelong passion for helping others look and feel their best.

  • Expanding My Craft

    For years, I've continued to invest in advanced education, refining both my technical skills and my understanding of personalized hair care. Along the way, I've explored specialized cutting and color techniques, expanded my knowledge through continuing education, and embraced the belief that learning never truly ends. Every class, certification, and experience has helped shape the thoughtful, customized approach I bring to every guest who sits in my chair.

    My journey eventually led me beyond traditional beauty into holistic wellness. Through Reiki training and studies with the Q'ero Shamanic tradition, I discovered a deeper appreciation for intention, energy, nature, and the meaningful rituals that often accompany life's transitions. These experiences continue to inspire the calm, grounded approach I bring to every appointment.
